31 detained immigrants spell SOS in dirt yard at Texas detention center

Detainees at the Bluebonnet immigrant detention facility in Anson, Texas formed the letters S-O-S in the dirt yard of the facility while a Reuters drone was operating nearby, according to Reuters. Thirty-one men participated in the protest. Ten days earlier, dozens of Venezuelan detainees at the facility had received notices from immigration officials alleging they were members of the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua and were subject to deportation under a wartime law, per the report.
