Waymo suspends service on highways over floodwater concerns

Waymo is suspending service on all freeways in the U.S. The move comes after one of the company's robotaxis was stranded by floodwaters in Atlanta. In a statement, the company said the vehicle was not occupied at the time and was later recovered. Waymo says it’s upgrading software after flooding in other Southern states.
