Rescue teams extracted two workers alive from a hydropower tunnel in Nepal nine days after severe flooding and landslides struck the region, according to NPR. Officials say the men are in stable condition and have been flown to a hospital in Kathmandu. Several hundred workers remain missing from the hydropower project along the Trishuli River, officials said, with more than 1,200 people known to have been killed and over 5,000 still missing across Nepal and China.
