Thousands cross from Morocco into Spanish territory of Ceuta
Thousands of people breached the border between Morocco and Ceuta, a Spanish enclave in North Africa, on Thursday. Local authorities requested that the Spanish government declare a national emergency and deploy military forces in response to the mass crossing.
