Paramilitary-Aligned Group Kills 27 in Sudan's South Kordofan State

The Sudan People's Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), aligned with the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), killed 27 people including four children in attacks on Qardud and Abu Hamama in South Kordofan state, according to the Sudan Doctors Network on Tuesday. The victims were primarily from the Otoro tribe, and the killings triggered a large wave of displacement toward Abu Hitan and Kadugli, the network said. The Sudan Doctors Network condemned the attacks as ethnically targeted.
